How to get to Heaven

I went to church today and heard some bizarre and wonderful information that I would like to share with you. I don't even know the name of the guest speaker who told me, but here is what he said.

1. What kind of character do you want?


An author that I really admire, Ellen White, wrote in her Devotional book, Maranatha, that when Jesus comes back, our characters will not be transformed. The characters we have on Earth will be the same one we have in heaven. So, we need to work on changing our characters with God's help-here and now.

4. Jesus has a mansion in Heaven for every one of us.

John 14: 1,2,3

1"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

5. Heaven is beyond our imaginations.

1 Corinthians 2:9

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

6. Enoch is in Heaven.

"And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him." Gen. 5:24

7. How did Enoch walk with God?

Enoch woke up and stretched. He walked to his guest room and said, "Good morning, Lord."
Then he and Jesus ate a delicious breakfast of a blueberry-wheat-omega Smoothie and a bagel. Next, Enoch said, " I am looking at some land to buy to plant some crops. Can you go with me and give me advice, Jesus?" Jesus agreed and they walk to the land. Jesus inspected the dirt, and said, "This is rich soil. You can grow healthy crops here." Enoch bought the land and invited Jesus home to eat with his family. After a great Spaghetti supper, Enoch asked Jesus if he could go with him to consider an investment tomorrow. The next morning he woke up and stretched. He walked to his guestroom and said, "Good morning, Lord!" After they ate big bowls of Oatmeal with strawberries together, the two friends set off.

This is how Enoch walked with God every day of his life until Jesus took him home with him to heaven one day. Jesus is coming back soon! We need to start living like citizens of Heaven. In Heaven, everyone will be looking out for the needs of others instead of living for themselves only. So go start an argument about who is going to be last in line instead of who gets to be first..Love your enemies.. and be so nice that people will look at you strangely....
